Hey.
I’m getting excited! It’s that time of year where we can finally bring out all things dead. I don’t know about you but a zombie doesn’t fit in nearly as well during any other time of the year- but now. Promos for The Walking Dead, American Horror Story and a few other highly anticipated shows signify the approach of Halloween as well as opens the gates for all things supernatural. In my earlier blog post, ‘There’s Something About Those Things’- the appeal of it all is heightened starting in September and runs feverishly until midnight November 1st- when gears switch up toward the holiday season.
Little do they know, the zombie could care less.
The zombie is still roaming around in the minds of authors, such as myself and readers who eagerly await a force strong enough to fight against them. The potential story in this kind of situation is limitless. As a writer, it’s what I strive to do best.
With that in mind, I’d love to know how you feel about Fall/Halloween and the season of the zombie? Do you feel extra ‘apocalyptic’ during this time?
